Tourism Malaysia places Pulau Lang Tengah between Redang and the Perhentian islands and lists Merang Jetty as its access point. PADI’s destination guide also describes the Merang connection. Keep the island name and the mainland departure name together when requesting transport, so a driver or booking contact can confirm the complete journey rather than only its first leg.

Merang and Marang are different names and departure areas: the latter is associated with Kapas. Ask your chosen resort or dive provider for the precise check-in location and a current contact for the transfer. Confirm the arrangements for your dates instead of treating published journey estimates or a generic island timetable as your booking confirmation.
